The author has a reflection on problems in the monk education: shortage of teachers, improper curriculum and so on, and believes that we should take the actual situation of mainland Chinese Buddhism into consideration, revive traditional "jungle education", stress the Buddhist faith education, and introduce the national education system into temples, promoting Buddhist monks and nuns' cultural knowledge training through self-taught examination of the History of Buddhism.
