| 摘要 | 本文主要討論佛教與臨終關懷運動的結合，佛教所特有的生死哲學與冥想技術，為臨終關懷運動的推廣提供了重要的資源。通過對案例的敘述與分析，筆者將探討在當代中國的語境下，佛教的臨終關懷實踐何以成為可能，並在更為抽象的認知層面，對醫學與佛教做出比較。
This essay discusses the combination of Buddhism and hospice care movement mainly, the latter provided the important resources for the promotion of hospice care in its peculiar life and death philosophy and meditation.The author probes why the hospice care practice of Buddhism becoming possible under the modern Chinese literature through the narrating and analysis of the case, and makes comparision between the medical science and Buddhism.
