Through the Han and Tibetan documents combing with the unearthed Xixia documents and cultural relics, this thesis discusses the relationship of Xixia study and Tibetology, proving the closeness of Dangxiang minority and Tibet minority in history; narrating the great influence of the Tibetan Buddhism on the Xixia Buddhism; pointing out the position of Tibetan monks in Xixia as well as the fact and significance of the Tibetan Eminent monk are Conferred as imperial teachers; discussing the intercommunication of the Xixia and the Tibet, especially the inter- use of printing and book binding; introducing the materials related to Tibet in Xixia documents and relics; at last, elaborating the contribution of Xixia descendants in spreading the Tibetan Buddhism in Yuan-Ming dynasties.
