摘要 | The article explores the various attitudes of Chinese Buddhist masters toward the introduction of Indian disciplinary rules in the Chinese society of the fifth to the eighth centuries. The period saw the full development of Chinese monastic discipline called vinaya. A discussion on the vinaya background of the Chinese monasteries is presented. It presented two interpretations of the term lüe jiao. The story of the seven Buddhas in the Dharmaguptaka tradition is cited. A discussion on the attitudes and practical instructions of Doaxuan and Yijing is presented. |
