The Wenchang belief culture in southern Lake regions in the southern part of Lake Qinghai is a special case in Tibetan Buddhist cultural circle in Amdo Tibetan area.Field research shows that the geographical distribution,rituals and folk customs of Wenchang belief are culturally distinctive.The author thinks that this situation was mainly caused by the influence of geographical environment and Tibetan Buddhist culture in the southern Lake multi-nationality inhabitance.
