摘要 | 藏族喇嘛僧人留住京城始於明初洪武年間。永樂遷都後,藏僧東來更趨頻繁,留住京城藏僧逐漸增加,對僧人的生活供給也曾成為朝廷的一項巨大開支。以往各類文獻記載及少量研究多從負面評述。明代歷朝都準允藏僧留住京城同時給予優厚待遇,此舉有著更為深層的社會功用的考量,總體來說是明代各朝治藏政策的重要組成部分,對維護明朝中央對西藏地方的有效管轄及促進西藏地方的和平穩定發展起了重要的積極作用。
Tibetan lamas began to live in the capital from Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty. After the capital s resettlement to Beijing in Yongle period, more and more Tibetan lamas came eastward to the capital and the number of those living in the capital gradually increased. The living provision by the government to the lamas became a huge expenditure. Various documental records and some researches before commented negatively. All the regimes in Ming Dynasty permitted Tibetan lamas living in the capital and provided with some privileges. This measure contained profound social functioning consideration. In a word, it was an important part of the Ming Dynasty policy to administrate Tibet and it played important role in administrating Tibet and promoting the local stability of Tibet.
