| 摘要 | The lamaism associated with Tibetan Buddhism was practiced in the high court of Korea's Late Koryo Dynasty，but was not accepted outside of the court. This is most likely the result of Korean Buddhists' inability or unwillingness to accept the tantric rites associated with sex. The celibacy in vogue with Korean monks of the Koryo could not be combined with such tantric practices. It appears that lamaism had little long-lasting effect on Korean Buddhism. |
