| 摘要 | The agam shrines where Tantric Buddhist practices are conducted are accessible only to the members of Nepal's Newar Buddhist community who have received higher Tantric initiations (diksha). Access to the secret rituals as well as the esoteric art housed in the shrines is therefore strictly prohibited to the uninitiated. `The Circle of Bliss' exhibition affords an opportunity for the author to appreciate these works or art and to reveal specific iconographic conventions unique to Chakrasamvara practices in Newar Buddhism.
