Another big discovery after that made at Xiantangshan, about six volumes of Buddhist sutras of 130, 000 Chinese characters were recently found on a cliff of the Zhonghuang Mountain at Shexian, Hebei. These important data of early Chinese Buddhist sutras will not only facilitate the research on Buddhism with its different sects and in different regions, but cast new light on the calligraphic development.
