In contemporary Taiwan, Buddhist religion has positively involved in worldly affairs and uncovered its original mystic veil; thus, its has made an alienated phenomenon. The biggist issue is that it moved towards a “secularized" path without prospects: To occur as a result of the secularized puzzlement of Buddhist religion, not only did it contradict the original religious meaning, but also add weight on human burden thoughtlessly. Judging from the entire situation, the direction of restart for Buddhist religion is to resist secularization and elucidate its original mystery and abstruseness. Perhaps this reorientation can be helpful to save human being from disaster and crisis that resulted from blindly pursuing “modernization".
