This article discusses the prajna theory of the Chao Lun, which was written by Seng-Chao. Seng-Chao was the first important Chinese Buddhist philosopher who proposed a systematic philosophical theory. He proposed the famous statements: 1. The Immutability of Thing, 2.The Emptiness of Unreal, 3.The Unknowing of Prajna, 4.The Non-name of Nirvana. In this article the researcher discusses the above statements with the methodology of modern Chinese Philosophy. In which, the statement of "The Emptiness of Unreal" is analyzed by the approach of the theory of Ontology, and is proved as a correct interpretation of the concept of Prajna. The statements of "The Unknowing of Prajna and The Non-name of Nirvana are analyzed by the approach of the theory of Gungfu (功夫) and Jihngjieh(境界),and are given some comments on it. The statement of The Immutability of Thing is not an appropriate statement in Buddhism.
