Doctrines of Buddhism; Philosophy of Theravada Buddhism; Permanence; Sassatavada; Annihilation; Ucchedavada; Karunadasa, Y.
摘要
Early Buddhist doctrines can be understood as being based on the critical response to two opposing views, 'sassatavada' or permanence and 'ucchedavada' or annihilation. The opposition between 'sassatavada' and 'ucchedavada' is discussed in relation to Buddhist doctrines of dependent origination and causation.
