Succeeding to the special subject of researching Buddhism's efficacious novels in Dun-huang documents, the program accords to documents in relation with efficacious novels spreading in Chinese Buddhism's books, classified books, and notes, and Japanese ancient books, to assort and study widely in a methodical way. Thus, we can extend the field in studying Sui, Tan, and the Five Dynasty's novels. And through the point of the novel history of development, we could observe these Buddhism's efficacious stories deeply with the atmosphere of monstrous novels. Then, we could not only provide abundant subjects for the study of later novels, but also find a way for the development of writing relational books in use of novelistic calligraphic style in later folk religion.
