William Irwin Thompson，Harold Morowitz，and Baird Callicott argue that ecology represents nature to be internally related，systemically integrated，and unified. Resonant concepts of nature may repose in Asian traditions of thought. Tu Wei-Ming，Graham Parkes, David Hall，Roger Ames, and Robert Neville explore the complementary environmental attitudes and values in the Chinese world view; Hubertus Tellenbach and Bin Kimura, David Shaner，and William LaFleur，the Japanese world view; Francis Cook，David Inada, and David Kalupahana, the Buddhist world view; Eliot Deutsch and Gerald Larson，the Indian world view. These traditions provide a rich conceptual resource for contemporary environmental philosophy.
