| 摘要 | Scholars have become generally aware of the religious impulse behind Wittgenstein's "Tractatus" as well as his affinity with Buddhism. However，this essay argues that the general nature of the religious impulse behind Wittgenstein's "later" philosophy has still not been understood. It attempts to identify the nature of this orientation in connection with his personal conversations and his later philosophical views. It characterizes the main thrust of these views as "the groundlessness of the human situation" and attempts to show that this notion was intended to challenge our modern obsessions with science and "explanation" and promote the possibility of a new religious spirit. |
