摘要
The aim was to publish key articles of professor T. R. V. Murti that still have relevance for ongoing philosophic discussion. Especially useful to today's students are the six essays on Advaita Vedanta, the seven essays on Buddhism and the essay on "the philosophy of language in the Indian context." an academic biography of professor Murti is included along with a complete listing of his writings. The majority of these essays were first published in obscure Indian journals, now defunct，and thus outside this volume are not easily available.
