Platform Sutra is the basic scripture of Chan School, the most important sect of Chinese sect; while the Dun-Huang manuscript is the earliest version of Platform Sutra known now. Based on a review of the concerning view points and achievements of scholars of the near hundred years, this thesis puts forw ard its own view about many respects about the manuscript, such as its presence time, writing form, title and autography, contents and its relations with the then tendency in Chan, etc.
