During the period of the Tang(618-907A.D.) and the Five Dynasties(907-979A.D.), Sujiang,a Buddhist teaching lecture for folks to persuades people for almsgiving was found very popular holding on Buddhist ritual which usually performed on the three month with long periods of Eight -commandment days.This performance consists two forms:preaching and the receiving commandments.Buddhist scriptures, text for lecture,Bianwen in Chinese,Yinyuanwen,Shoubaguanzhaiwen all those types of textual writings could be application for lecturer, but were not setted acceptance for Suliang. There are some misunderstandings of this topic, some are too generalizing of the definition of Suliang and narrowing the knowledge of its applied texts.
