Dunhuang Bianwen(Buddhist Writings for public lectures) is not simple concept of literary form,which a features of literary works were disagree with ideological content and style,so it has a conplex nature.This article analysis different opinions of former researchers on the name to Bianwen and put forwards his opinion that it suitable and necessary for name Bianwen,a public folk literature works in Dunhuang Manuscripts under a specific historic background.Upon this basic agreement,this article goes on on analysis resources of this literary form and took it for granted that Bianwen is a creation of culture exchange between Indian and Chinese.
