Master Taixu argued the concept of "humanistic Buddhism" to adapt for age demand. Through the long-term practices and efforts of master Yinshun, master Xingyun and master Shengyan, "humanistic Buddhism" has been come true in Taiwan. This paper will focus on the constructing process of humanistic Buddhism in Taiwan, and also make a brief review on some hot issues such as ecological-enviromental protection and political engagement etc., hope that people get an integral cognition regarding the development of humanistic Buddhism in Taiwan.
