This paper,after discussing the religious and literary context,lays focus on the mystical poetry composed by Joindu and Ramasimha flourishing in the medieval times in India.The author has selected,translated and analyzed several poems as samples.Finally,the author makes a probe into the causes for creating the poetry and sums up its major characteristics
