摘要
The article discusses the tales related to Taoists in the Chinese medieval anecdotal collections. According to the article, the "Sundry Events From the North of Yunmeng," a miscellany done by literatus Sun Guangxian, discusses the personalities of various Tang emperors and the methods for extracting terrapin urine. It also examines several anecdotes in the book that deal with religious specialists and religion, namely Buddhists, Taoists and local cults.
