The issue of environmental protection becomes more popular in modern society. Environmental Management as a key cross-disciplinary subject dealing with the problem is therefore very important in the current higher education. Among various areas within environmental management, ethics gains less attention. In fact, each decision making relates to value judgment. Buddhism is largely considered contributive to the discussion about the issue in the academic world. In this essay, supplemented by actual examples, “Middle Path” of Buddhism will be discussed and its implication to the environmental ethics as well as environmental management will be evaluated.
