「時間」與「敘事」之視域融合:以呂格爾「三重再現」及法藏「新十玄門」為線索=A Fusion Horizon of "Time" and "Narrative" : According to P. Ricoeur's "Threefold Mimesis" and Fa-zang' s "New Tenfold Profound Gates"
本文嘗試藉由呂格爾(P. Ricoeur, 1913-2005)《時間與敘事》(Time and Narrative)中「三重再現」(thrssfold Mimesis)的觀點,重讀華嚴宗的法藏(643-712)之「新十玄門」,以為其不僅具有一個宗教哲學或本體論思想的意涵之傳統理解,「新十玄門」也具有一個華嚴祖宗閱讀《華嚴經》時,解讀其敘事結構與風格的閱讀成果之意味。換言之,通過呂格爾「三重再現」論的融入,以重解「新十玄門」,可形成一種新的理解視域。吾人藉以窺見,華嚴祖師如何透過其對《華嚴》的預想(相當「再現一」),以「十玄」閱讀、理解與詮釋《華嚴經》(相當「再現二」),從而建構出華嚴宗特殊宗教哲學理解(相當「再現三」)。 相對而言,本文也從法藏新十玄們提供對於時間性的反省,可以對映呂格爾對時間問題沉思之差別。基於對於人性與佛性的不同理解而產生不同的時間哲學觀點,也衍生不一樣的關於「敘事」的主張,法藏注重於終極覺悟的故事,而呂格爾與法藏之交互相對比與互相觀看,本文企圖形成既差異且又融合的理解視域,以呈現「時間」與「敘事」問題更多理解的可能性。
Here, I want to re-read Fa-zang' s "New Tenfold Profound Gates" according to "Threefold Mimesis" which proposed by P. Ricoeur (1913-2005) in Time and Narrative, for "New Tenfold Profound Gates" is not only a religious or ontological text but also including the hermeneutical and narrative meaning. Through "Threefold Mimesis", the "New Tenfold Profound Gates" has shown itself as Fa-zang' s tragedy and effect to read the Huayan Sutra. Fa-zang uses the "New Tenfold Profound Gates" to cross the distance between Huayan Sutra and Huayan Busshism, for configuring (mimesis II) what he think about Huayan Sutra, which as the prefigure (mimesis I), and refigurate it to become the understanding (mimesis III) of Huayan Buddhism. On the contrary, Fa-zang' s "New Tenfold Profound Gates" afforded a reflection about temporality, which could reflect different thinking about "time" between Fa-zang and Ricoeur. Different Time philosophy emerges from the difference of human nature and Buddha nature and also derives different thinking of "narrative". Fa-zang pays his attention to the ultimate awakening narrative but Ricoeur notice narrative might to tinker existence experience of narrator. By harmonizing two horizons as a fusion horizon we could get more possible percepts. about "time" and "narrative".
