In Dunhuang Manuscripts, eighty pieces are about Visesacintabrahmapariprccha sūtra. Some of them, are full text editions and the others are abridged editions This sūtra is closed related to the Chan Sect. There are altogether fourteen caves containing the murals from stories of this sutra in the Mogao Grottoes and Yulin Grattoes. The inscription of the sūtra, which is found on the verso of Dunhuang Manuscript B.X. 5408 and murals of the sūtra stories of the Magao Cave 454 are similar in contents
