There are over 1500 pieces of literature manuscripts and texts housed in the Maijishan Grottoes Art Research Institute which are covered a span of long time from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, for some historical reasons that these literature manuscripts and texts are unknown to people outside. This article is trying to give a brief account on the origin source of these literature manuscripts and texts and to introducing some of the important manuscripts and texts among the 1500 pieces in the Maijishan Grottoes Art Research Institute. At the same time, added an rough wrought catalogue of the part of literature manuscripts and texts to publishing for the further study.
