By her first-hand experience, this article have traced back in historically the span of the trying out and exploring course in study and copying Dunhuang Murals by all members of the Fine Art Institute of Dunhuang Academy who contributed theirs ideas and theirs strength to the discovery, conservation and research of the unique art treasure of Mogao Grottoes Dunhuang, and further on, this article discusses that there was the need to have an authentic voice in dealing with questions of doing reproductions and study, and copying these wall-paintings and learning the handed down heritage in skill and the artistic creativity, the creative activity in copying on a scientific foundation under the present new academic situation.
