As there were his original handwriting cards and firsthand notes in exist, by a careful comparative study on his original cards and notes and those publishing, we find there are still great edit value in proofread and patch-up in textual edition and for rectify and supplementary reading. Although not complete in archives collections, his classifying catalogue cards in textual research had great help in monographic studies on DMS. Some of his brief descriptions to Dunhuang Manuscripts will provide a rectify opportunities for reconstructing the missing part of the certain collection of prose works in Chinese history and the Master Collection of Buddhist Sǖtra Texts.
