The Praise Song of The Twenty-Four Solar Terms were two pieces of copy of poem found among Dunhuang Manuscripts which were dating from the Tang Dynasty and it was composed of twenty four poems. Reliant on the familiar terms with the climate of the central China along the Yellow River, combining with description of the natural resources and productions of the area of the Yellow River and the activities of agricultural affairs and everyday life and the vividly folk genre, the author of The Praise Song of The Twenty-Four Solar Terms had given us a broad stage of the social life and rich informations of all walks of life at that time of the Tang Dynasty. This Praise Song of The Twenty-Four Solar Terms, which was composed by someone who lived in the period of the Tang Dynasty, then had been introduced to Dunhuang from the Central Plain of China, became the best beloved poem among the same motif for its rich contents in informations and outstanding idea in composition.
