According to relevant history records, the author discusses the iconographical origin, literary sources and secular ideas of the Earth God appears beneath the donors' feet in the murals of the Kizilgahr grottoes in Kucha. In the author's opinion, this image, which reflects the donors' attempt to deify them and advocate the idea of King's power from god, should be borrowed from Khotan and drawn on the basis of Suvarnaprabhasa (Sutra of Golden Light).
