The physical and mechanical properties of two silicate materials used for Chinese ancient architecture,Aga soil and Ginger net,are studied by burning them at 1000℃ for 3 hours. The results show that the burnt Aga soil and Ginger net possess good material properties, such as very low contraction deformation, big porosity, high permeability stability and mechanical intensity, and resistance to the erosion of alkaline medium,freeze-thawing,wind erosion, and weather. So the ancient typical building materials Aga soil and Ginger net burnt at high temperatures could be used as excellent materials for grouting conglomerate rock fracture.
