The extant Gongxia Caves are the five constructed in North Wei,which are divided into western and eastern area. Buddha's dresses in these caves are mainly double layer.According to the evolution of Buddha's dresses in the caves and the analysis to the landform where the caves locate, the author gives the following conclusions: The caves in the two areas may be constructed in the same time, whose project's time was through all the period of reign of Queen Hu.
