After the Buddha's nirvana, the deeds of the Buddhas were remembered and recalled forever by so many laypersons. The sūtras, Vinaya and Khuddaka-nikāyas have some sutras of the Buddha's biographies. According to collection and analysis on Khuddaka-nikāyas, Vinaya and the definition of Buddha's biographical literature, present the following views. The first is Buddhist biography is the Gātha and gadya in style. The second is the content of Buddha's biographies evolved from life experience to rich narration with clear structure and instinctive characters. The third is the image of the Buddha evolved from a sangha to the omnipotent god of the universe. Buddha’s biographical literature has some motifs in its development.
