德國胡海燕博士法顯研究中譯之三：〈五世紀中國西域求法高僧的心理極限挑戰〉=Chinese Translation III of Study on Faxian by German Sinologist Haiyan Hu-von Hinüber: “Grenzerfahrungen der chinesischen Indienpilger im 5. Jahrhundert ”
This Chinese Translation III is the fifth article of Study on Faxian by Dr. Haiyan Hu-von Hinüber, with the German title as:"Grenzerfahrungen der chinesischen Indienpilger im 5. Jahrhundert" Based on the unique narritive style in Faxian‘s Records of Buddhist Kingdoms Foguoji, Dr. Hu tried to analyse some certain paragraphes, which are full of Faxian‘s inner emotions, from a new perspective of psychology analysis. With the compounded concept "Indian-pilgrimage of Chinese-monk"(chinesischen Indienpilger), some profound and complicated inner consciousness of the narrator are detailed discussed. With such psychological approach, the spiritual aspects of the cross-boundary pilgrimage, and the border-experieces of Faxian, a Chinese monk searching for the authentic Indian Dharmas at the twilight of 5th century, might be effectively inspired and revealed.
