| 摘要 | The present paper is part of a study that aims at defining more closely the relationship between early Buddhism and its religious environment. Particular attention will be brought to the analysis of Buddha Gotamas narrative teaching debates as transmitted in the Pali Canon and the question of the literary construction of the non-buddhist opponent during a dialogue. The systematical investigation of how this “other” is depicted on the question of inner-buddhist interpretation of religious difference and should lead to a better understanding of the strongly schematized literary structures of the canonical texts. |
