The principle of the Heart of Buddha's teaching is to eliminate the "false mind" in order to evoke the "true mind". Da Huayen Monastery adopted the Chan-Kuang practice of Samantabhadra-yāna, which consists of three practice development stages: accumulation, preparation and main practice. Preparation is the stage which carries out via Samadhi inside the Trailokya, whereas the correct practice is to be carried out via Samadhi outside the Trailokya. This article will be focused on four methods of contemplation, including contemplation of mind, contemplation of Tathata, contemplation of Samatha, and contemplation of Vipasyana, to briefly introduce the criteria of each grade of bodhisattva faith (there are ten grades) which can be achieved within the process of Miao-Kao samadhi, Kama-Dhatu samadhi and Samadhi outside the Trailokya. The main purpose of the entire procedure is to remove the life impurities of Kamadhatu, Rupadhatu and Arupadhatu, and which, is the crucial point of Chan-Kuang Practice of Samantabhadra-yāna.
