As no.1 of the Eight Great Buddhist Temples in ancient Fanchuan, The Xingjiao(Flourishing Teaching) Temple has had a history of more than 1000 years, and its pagoda has been listed into the World Heritage. Through the review of the historic literature, the onsite investigation of the remains and the interpretation and examination of the inscriptions, this paper trimmed the history of the evolution,preservation and utilization of the remains of the Xingjiao Temple and provided a set of new data for the research on the religious culture.
