This article can be regarded as an attempt which make a roughly comparison between one of the spiritual practices triggered by New Age Movement in a broad sense and on one of traditional religious. Considering the several similar items, we choose “Neuro-linguistic Programming” （hereinafter abbreviated as NLP） as a comparison item which is regarded as one of the spiritual guides in the New Age Movement. As for the traditional religion of Buddhism （Early Buddhism） is another contrast. The significance of this comparison can not only reveal the resources of the traditional religion paradigm, it also can reveal the creative techniques of new paradigm of New Age Movement as well. Moreover, it also urges traditional religion paradigms to think over on renovating discourse praxis in contemporary situation.
