As a preliminary study,this research mainly focuses on selected parts of Tsongkhapa's book,The Commentary On The Madhyamakāvatāra.The main methods of this study are: the literature research method, the ideology research method and the use of reference books and Buddhist dictionaries to understand the meaning of words and names,and to understand and analyze the meanings of the principles. This is done to understand Nonself(無我), the ultimate truth that is emptiness, and the meaning of life. This study is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, which describes the motivation and purpose of the research.The second chapter discusses the origin and structure of this śāstra. And the purpose of Tsongkhapa's wrote śāstras(論). The third chapter enters into the text of The Commentary On The Madhyamakāvatāra to understand the special characteristics (Praise for Mahākaruṇa) of the Madhyamakāvatāra śāstra(入中論). The fourth chapter mainly seeks to understand the meaning of the First Bhūmi and the stages of cultivation.It explains the stages of entering buddhahood and the establishment and merits of the ten stages (daśabhūmi十地). In addition, it explains the physicality and various merits of the First Bhūmi.The fifth chapter the reason why dviyāna(二乘)also can achieve the independence of self or things. Chapter six concludes by Summarizing the contents of the first five chapters,and reaching the conclusion that only by deeply understanding emptiness can one be freed from the cycle of life and death. And through the way of bodhisattvas practicing the cultivation of both wisdom and good fortune,one can reach Buddhahood.
