聖嚴法師對佛性意義的當代詮解及其與人間淨土實踐的關涉=Master Sheng Yen's Contemporary Interpretation of the Meaning of Tathāgata-garbha and Its Relationship with Building a Pure Land on Earth
Master Sheng Yan is an international generation Zen master. He is devoted to promote the Chinese Buddhism,especially the Chinese Zen in his life. Zen Buddhism influenced by the thought of the Tathagata, Master Sheng Yan attaches great importance to the attitude of harmony in the thought of the Tathagata.Not only the belief of Buddha-possession is very important to promote the construction project of Ren Jian Pure Land. Even think that to adapt to the future of the World Buddhism, will still take the idea of the Tathagata as its main axis. Attach great importance to the thought of the Tathagata. But the idea of the Tathagata has been debated for a long time. Because the Tathagata holds that nothing is justified by the law. The Tathagata is the main zongyi of "always le my net", so it is often regarded by the middle school and the yoga two scholars as the true and the real, and there are some criticisms on the teaching profession. Master Sheng Yan has been reading Tripitaka in the mountains for six years. Master Sheng-Yan wrote a lot of books. Master Sheng Yan strives to study Dharma and Buddhist history,Master Sheng Yan believes that the most easily understood and easiest to teach in the Dharma is the belief in the Tathagata.Although Buddhist circles and scholars have criticized the idea of the Tathagata, he still thinks that the idea of the Tathagata is important. There must be a great reason for his persistence. I am writing this paper is to hope that the master of the Buddha-yan Tibetan thought systematic observation, study how he to the Buddhist nature of the modern interpretation, and how to integrate the Buddhist ideas into the world of Pure Land guidance, The research results of this paper are helpful to understand the significance and method of how Master Yan-Zang thought should be applied to the construction of pure land in the world, and to understand the contemporary Buddhism practice in Taiwan.
