| 摘要 | 이 글에서는 현공 윤주일의 『불교강연집』의 전체적 맥락에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 2장에서는 그의 수행론에 대해 살펴본다. 그의 수행론의 총론적 입장은 자력수행과 타력수행을 아우르는 것인데, 『불교강연집』에서는 주로 자력수행에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이 자력수행에 대해서는 소승의 수행, 중승의 수행, 대승의 수행으로 구분하고 있다. 소승의 수행은 사성제를 말하는 것인데, 이것을 실천하는 구체적인 방안으로 사정견, 오정심관, 사념처를 제시하고 있다. 중승의 수행은 12인연(연기)를 말하는 것이고, 대승의 수행은 6바라밀을 말하는 것이다. 그리고 나서 현공 윤주일은 소승, 중승, 대승의 수행의 공통요소로서 계, 정, 혜 삼학을 제시한다. 3장에서는 한국불교와 인류사회의 발전방안에 대해 살펴본다. 현공은 한국불교의 발전방안으로 포교를 거론한다. 더 구체적으로 말하자면 ‘불교성전의 편찬’과 ‘포교사 양성’을 제시하고 있다. 그리고 인류사회의 발전방안으로 ‘불교의 자비’에 근거해서 물질문명을 정신문명으로 바꾸고, 과학적 세계를 도덕적 세계로 전환할 것을 주장한다. 더 구체적으로 말하면, 현대문명의 인간이 자신의 잘못된 행동을 참회하고 회개해서 도덕의 길, 인간의 길로 돌아가야 한다는 것이다. 4장에서는 ‘여래십대발원문’의 내용을 검토한다. 현공은 ‘여래십대발원문’의 내용에 자력수행, 타력수행, 중생구제의 보살행이 포함되어 있다고 본다. 이는 앞에서 거론한 수행론과 한국불교와 인류사회의 발전방안을 통합한 것이다. 왜냐하면, 보살행에는 포교활동도 포함되고, 또 자비를 통해서 인류를 구원한다는 내용도 포함되기 때문이다. 이렇게 보면, 『불교강연집』의 전체맥락은 ‘여래십대발원문’으로 귀결된다는 것을 알 수 있다.
In this paper, I will study the total interrelation of Hyeongong Yun Ju Il's Collection of Buddhist Lecture. In 2 chapter, I study his practice method. The general viewpoint of his practice method is to unite the self power practice and the other power practice, and Collection of Budhist Lecture focuses the self power practice mainly. This self power practice is divided by the practice of small vehicle(hīnayāna), middle vehicle, and great vehicle(mahāyāna). The practice of small vehicle(hīnayāna) is four noble truth and he suggests four kinds of right view, five approaches to meditation and four bases of mindfulness as the plan to practice this small vehicle. The practice of middle vehicle is twelve links of dependent origination. The practice of great vehicle is six perfections(pāramitās). Then he suggests morality, meditation, wisdom of three practices as the common point of the practice of small vehicle, middle vehicle, great vehicle. In 3 chapter, I study the plan to develop Korean buddhism and the human society. He suggests buddhist missionary activities as the plan to develop Korean buddhism, that is to edit buddhist canon and to train the teacher of buddhist missionary activities. And he insists to change the material civilization to spiritual civilization, and to change the scientific world to moral world on the basis of the compassion, as the plan to develop the human society. To be concrete, human of modern civilization must repent one's faulty action and return the road of morality and human. In 4 chapter, I study ten great written vow of the Tathāgata(如來十大發願文). He insists that ten great written vow of the Tathāgata have the self power practice, the other power practice and the bodhisattva practice to save sentient being. This unite the practice method and the plan to develop Korean buddhism and the human society, because bodhisattva practice has buddhist missionary activities and has to save human through the compassion. Thus we know that the total interrelation of Collection of Budhist Lecture return ten great written vow of the Tathāgata. |
