On the one hand, the Life Chan Summer Camp promotes college students to participate in Buddhist cultural practice and improve their understanding of Chan Buddhism; on the other hand, it also expands the influence of Chan Buddhism based on Bailin Temple among intellectuals. Based on in-depth interviews with Master Minghai and many college students who participated in life Chan, this paper focuses on the religious and cultural interaction between college students and the temple. Aiming at college students' participation in life Chan summer camp, this paper examines how Bailin Temple can coordinate the relationship between temple management and personal cultivation. This paper holds that handling this relationship well is the key to test the transcendence of Humanistic Buddhism.
