民國時期滇藏川毗連地區藏傳佛教寺院的嬗變及對地方社會的影響=The Change of Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries and the Impact on the Local Society in the Contiguous Areas of Yunnan,Tibet and Sichuan in the Republic of China

The symbiotic relation between Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and rural areas reflects the basic and important characteristic of the development and evolution of traditional society in Tibetan-inhibited areas. This paper makes a detailed study of the basic pattern of this symbiotic relation from two important angles of grass-root society control and economic resources supply in the special historical period of the Republic of China in the contiguous areas of Yunnan,Tibet and Sichuan. It examines the special influence and historical function of the change of the relation from multi-dimensions,which reveals that this traditional relation is not fixed but changing according to historical and social conditions influenced by national governance of the frontier areas,the struggles between root monks and laymen and the resource allocation in Tibetan-inhibited areas.
