Vaisravana，as a Buddhist guardian，emerged in Central China during Northern and Southern Dynasties. Belief in Vaisravana，as exotic culture，constantly evolved in the proces of cultural integration and colision with Chinese traditional culture.During the Five Dynasties and two Song Dynasties，with the secularization of Budhhism，belief in Vaisravana began to spread among common people，and exerted great influences on people’s spiritual world and daily life.
