The aim of this paper is based on monk subjectivity to explore the visible and implicit possession of the folk medical activities and network in the temple. From my own experience, I found the Folk medicine always combination of the Han Chinese culture and psychological factors. By doing so, it can spread widely. That’s also the reason why the Folk medicine can be adopted by Chinese society. Nowadays the existing folk medicine in the temple has similar spread mode. Monks re-convert the folk medicine in order to fit in with monk’s life. From the folk religion and folk medical practices viewpoints, I try to figure out the meaning of“disease”to people. They show the folk medical practice forms are generated from interpersonal relationships and close to the monastic life style. Depending on the interpersonal reliance and public praise forms the type of medical network which especially belongs to the temple. Comparing to Western medicine which bring out a sense of authority and alienation, the folk medicines are more close to the human daily life.
