What is the meaning of life? For the value of life, if we do not care about and think about its true meaning, that's a waste of time to live in the world. The cultural treasures of religion and funeral can meet our spiritual needs. And if we start from the perspective of practical application, the religion and funeral policy on the practice becomes worth studying their life care topics. It is hoped that the government can manage an environment suitable for the pluralistic development of religious culture, and create a funeral atmosphere that attaches importance to traditional life and death culture. So that people can grow up healthily in a society rich in life care. Via the study found that ‘‘Life Care’’ includes five topics: ‘‘Benevolence for People, Love for Things,’’ ‘‘Medical Health,’’ ‘‘Self-cultivation,’’ ‘‘Funeral Life and Death,’’ and ‘‘Ultimate Concern’’. After summing up and introspecting eight new life care topics in religion and funeral policies, this paper also constructs the conceptual connotation of life care: ‘‘Benevolence for People, Love for Things - Religious Secularization and Religious Alienation,’’ ‘‘Medical Health - Spiritual Healing,’’ ‘‘Self-cultivation - Ethics,’’ ‘‘Funeral Life and Death - Funeral Autonomy and Funeral Rites and Justice,’’ and ‘‘Ultimate Concern - Pluralism and Cultural Understanding.’’ And accordingly discuss religion and funeral policy problems as follows: ‘‘Religious tourism policy falls into religious secularization and alienation,’’ ‘‘Green funeral policy lacks spiritual healing,’’ ‘‘Religious and funeral education abandon ethics and morality,’’ ‘‘Upgrading of funeral service neglects funeral life and death and ritual righteousness,’’ and ‘‘Religious legislation does not recognize pluralism and cultural understanding.’’ Furthermore, to suggest the development direction of religion and funeral policies from the perspective of life care: ‘‘Benevolence for the people, love for things is related to religious cultural policies and pet funeral policy,’’ ‘‘Medical care is related to religious healing park and eventually living arrangements before his death,’’ ‘‘Self-cultivation is related to religious groups preaching and funeral evaluation award,’’ ‘‘Funeral life and death is related to politics-religion etiquette mutual help and cooperation between funeral industry and education,’’ and ‘‘Ultimate concern is related to religious education in schools and funeral life education.’’ Finally, it is realized that all topics of ‘‘Life Care’’ are based on ethics and point to the ultimate. Also it can be concluded as the Four Books says: ‘‘the way of great learning consists in manifesting one's bright virtue, loving the people, and stopping in perfect goodness.’’
