本文原初是以“Experience”作為標題而刊載於 Mark C.Taylor 所編輯的《宗 教研究的批評術語》(Critical Terms in Religious Studies, Chicago: The University of Chicago Press, 1998, pp.94~116.)，稍後則改以“The Rhetoric of Experience and the Study of Religion”為名而登載於《意識研究學報》 (Journal of Consciousness Studies, 7, No.11–12, 2000, pp.267~287.)。
