摘要
地藏三部經을 중심으로 지장보살의 사상적인 측면을 살펴보았다. 지장보살은 지옥중생을 구원하기 위하여 스스로 지옥을 교화의 장으로 선택한 보살이다. 지장보살은 대지의 신이며, 풍요, 悲願의 보살이고, 대비원력의 大願本尊菩薩이다. 『地藏十輪經』에서는 지장 十佛輪을 중심으로 중생교화의 원력을 규명해 보았으며, 각 불륜의 명칭을 붙였다. 다음으로 『地藏本願經』에서는 지장보살의 3가지의 大誓願을 하나로 요약 한다면, 「地獄衆生解脫願」이라고 할 수 있다. 또 지장신앙에 대한 이익과 공덕에 대해서 설하고 있는데 첫째는 현세이익적인 10종 이익과 둘째는 다생이익적인 28종 이익과 셋째는 수행이익적인 7종 이익에 대하여 설하고 있다. 마지막으로 『占察經』에서는 점찰법회와 참회 및 기도를 통하여 자신의 과거, 현재, 미래의 三世에 대한 업보를 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 것은 단순히 흥미나 미신적인 요소가 아니라 철저한 수행의 방편으로 사용하고 있다. 그러면서 일반 대중들이 호기심을 가지고 열심히 수행하도록 유도하고 있다. 특히 말법오탁악세의 둔근 하열한 근기들을 위하여 설하고 있다. 첫째는 十輪相으로 십선과 십악을 점치며, 둘째는 三輪相으로 신, 구, 의의 삼업을 알아보며, 셋째는 六輪相으로 삼세중의 모든 업보를 알아보고, 그 가르침에 따라서 수행한다. 이를 해석하는 간자로는 189개의 간자가 있고, 각 간자의 괘마다 해석이 다르다. 이상으로 지장사상에 대해여 지장삼부경을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 다시 말하자면, 지장사상은 가장 업보가 두텁고, 죄가 많은 지옥중생을 구원하는 大悲願의 사상이라고 할 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of this research thesis is to study ideas of Kstigarbha , with the focus on "Kstigarbha's Sambookyung" or " Kstigarbha's Three Way Buddhist Guidelines". Kstigarbha is a Buddhist Saint who is willing to designate the hell world as the field of moralization, in order to rescue people out of the hell. Kstigarbha is the god of earth and the Buddhist Saint of affluence and people's salvation and the Great Buddha devoting to people's salvation. Kstigarbha's Ten Buddhist Tenet Text states the underpinnings, principles and categories of people's salvation. Kstigarbha's Fundamental Guideline Text focuses on the salvation of people who fall into the hell world. Also, this text makes the observation on public good and virtue that the belief system of Kstigarbha pursues, namely, the 10 practical good, 28 mutual good and 7 moral good. Good and Evil-Predicting Text describes individual karma of the each three life, say, previous, present and future's life, through Buddhist service, penance and prayers. Such rituals are considered not merely intriguing and superstitious practice but the road to the full moralists. Also, this induces the general people to have a sense of curiosity for it and cultivate their moral training and disciplines. In particular, this text provides guidelines for the ailing and weak general public living in the toughest times. According to such guidelines, the ideas of Kstigarbha aim to predict 10 good and evils, and find out the three karma in the past, present and future life. In the end, such ideas encourage the general public to look back on the each three life and extend benevolence. The abovestated theories are construed in the total 189 Chinese characters. But, these 189 Chinese characters put each different interpretation and annotation of theories which are presented and established In this regard, this research thesis made the comparative analysis of the ideas of Kstigarbha with the focus on "Kstigarbha's Sambookyung" or " Kstigarbha's Three Way Buddhist Guidelines". In conclusion, the ideas of Kstigarbha are those which commit to salvaging people who fall into the hell due to bad karma.
