Lingyan temple is located in northern Tai mountain, Chongqing County, Jinan City of Shandong Province. It is a famous temple of Sui-Tang Period. In 1995, within the temple, local cultural relics department excavated building sites of Sui-Tang and unearthed a batch of Buddhism statues. This essay does a textual research of those cites and statues, moreover, it makes a synthetical study of four-faced Buddhism statue and Fang mountain ji cui zheng ming niche statue of Baoshen temple which is situated around Langyan. At last, this essay puts forward a new view to the date and theme of these Buddhism remains and the meaning of them in Buddhist history.
