From July to August, 1999, the joint archaeological team of the Department of Archaeology, School of Culture, Sichuan University and CPAM of Tibet Autonomous Region carried out a season of excavation at ? ? ?. The chronological relationship of the existing surface buildings becomes clearer with the excavation. Many broken painted clay moldings were uncovered from the site of a hall, an amount that has been unprecedented so far in the western part of Tibet.
